Summer School

This summer, I got signed up for 2 summer school courses. They are Guitar and PEAK Science Workshop. Now for all of those people who might be asking this question, let me clear this up for you all, "I did NOT fail any of my classes." It was my choice, (or my parent's), that I attend these 2 classes. Learning how to play guitar and how to make toy cars is fun, but it takes up summer time, which is now shortened down to 1 month, which is 1/12 of the year. I NEED more summer!!!! Maybe the government will make it legal to take only 6 months of school a year. Until my next blog, I am hoping desperately that we'll get an extension on our summer.

School's Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/ Camping

School is finally over! After an astounding camping trip 2 weeks ago being my "preview" for the summer, I am psyched. The camping trip was excellent. We camped at a place called Silverwood Lake with all of our friends. We rode bikes, went swimming in the lake, and roasted marshmallows around a fire. It is an experience that I will never forget. Back to school being over. I celebrated yesterday by playing PS3 for 5 hours straight while then going to an Angels game where the Angels beat the Dodgers. Another successful night for the Angels. I have a feeling that this is going to be a great summer.

Finals

School is winding down to a close with only 5 days left, so all teachers are trying to cram the rest of the information that we should've learned a month ago into these 5 days. It may seem impossible, but you would be surprised at what teachers can do with 10 powerpoints, 2 tests, and 3 50 problem homework assignments (I am talking about my Math work right now). The most recent thing that we've been working on is a group project for my Language Arts class. After emailing, Gmail chatting and typing a 6 paragraph speech in one hour, I am pretty tired of school by now. Luckily, we have a 4 day weekend right now and I am getting away from school by going camping. Wish me luck. I hope I'm not eaten by any bears during the trip.
